EBW is an information project about European employment, salaries, taxes, visas and relocation. Its guides help readers compare evidence, understand conditions and prepare questions for an employer, authority or adviser.

The English version addresses Nigerian citizens living in Nigeria. Nationality and residence affect procedures, so another country’s example should not automatically be applied. Publication is not a personal recommendation to relocate, buy assistance or invest.

Why the project exists

A job search and relocation involve several separate decisions: finding a genuine offer, understanding pay, establishing work permission and assessing taxes and costs. Evidence often sits with different authorities and concerns different periods.

EBW aims to connect those questions in understandable explanations. A reader should see where a number or condition comes from, which circumstances it concerns and what needs confirmation before acting. A general article cannot decide a personal case.

How to read articles and their evidence

An official rule, statistical measure, company claim, review and teaching calculation have different evidential roles. Law needs the operative rule and responsible authority; salary data needs its method and period; a company overview needs its actual verification scope.

Government, immigration and tax authorities, statistics, international databases and professional research serve different purposes. Practical accounts should not be presented as the editorial team’s first-hand experience without evidence. An invented author, expert review or client story cannot replace a source.

The role of company overviews

An overview helps explain an offer and frame questions about the entity, professional, price and responsibilities. It does not automatically authenticate every licence, private file or the quality of a future engagement.

A provider’s own page differs from independent confirmation. Marketing does not determine the operative programme. A relevant commercial relationship needs clear separate disclosure; being mentioned is not an endorsement.

Accuracy, changes and limits

Accuracy, clarity and practical relevance are editorial standards. An individual article should identify checking date and scope, data periods and unresolved questions. The entire site should not be assumed to be monitored in real time.

A new rate, programme closure or revised statistical series may require changes to tables and examples. A confirmed error needs an evidence-based correction. Before an important decision, check the current procedure and personal circumstances.

Feedback and future development

Readers can suggest a topic or report a disputed condition, new source or changed company service. A useful report identifies the page, statement and supporting source; a complete passport or financial file is unnecessary.

Further industry guides, illustrations, interviews and calculators are potential development directions, not claims of already available services. Real-person stories and contributor qualifications require verification before being presented as such.
