Service Legal advertises advisory support for Austrian visas. Its service page separately states that it is neither an embassy nor an authorised government intermediary and does not guarantee a visa. The original promises of success and accelerated official decisions have been corrected.

For an Austria visa from Nigeria, preparing a file in three days, if agreed, does not mean issuance in three days. Identify the purpose, category and competent consulate before buying assistance.

Visa C, visa D and residence serve different purposes

CategoryGeneral purposeLimit
CShort visitUp to 90 days in 180; not general work permission
DNational stayUsually 91 days–6 months; not universal residence
Residence permitLonger relocationSeparate ground, conditions and employment rights

BMEIA explains that an ordinary D visa cannot be extended inside Austria as a visa. Staying beyond six months requires the appropriate residence permit. Study, employment and family routes have their own conditions; a contract does not turn every D visa into work permission.

Where to submit the application

For a Schengen trip, identify the main destination and the consulate responsible for lawful residence. A Nigerian citizen living in Nigeria should use the Austrian Embassy Abuja instructions, including the current submission channel and local checklist.

A visa centre accepts records within its remit; the state decides. Ask Service Legal which actions it actually provides for a Nigerian resident, in what language, and whether local appointments or representation are included. A website’s broad nationality claim is not a confirmed local service.

Documents for a short visit

An ordinary C application involves a passport, form, photo, purpose, itinerary, accommodation and means. The passport must meet issue-date, post-departure validity and blank-page requirements. Insurance needs the required Schengen-wide cover and risks with at least €30,000 coverage; a “travel insurance” label alone is insufficient.

Confirm biometrics and personal attendance under the current instructions. An adviser may help explain records but should not invent employment, reservations or bank statements. Retain control of the application and a file copy.

Timing and total charges

Ordinary Schengen examination is 15 calendar days, potentially extended to 45; booking, preparation and delivery add time. The usual submission window is six months to at least 15 days before travel. Abuja asks applicants to allow at least 15 working days. This local planning instruction is not a promise of a decision before departure.

Abuja lists a standard adult Schengen fee of €90 and €45 for children aged six to under twelve, subject to exemptions, payable in naira at the applicable local amount. D visas and residence procedures have separate charges. Add service fees, translations, insurance and advisory work; payment does not secure approval.

Assistance and receiving the result

Agree four work products: category assessment, document list and review, permitted booking assistance, and delivery of the decision notification. The contract should identify the payee, scope, termination and refunds. Separate advisory preparation time from consular processing.

After issuance, check personal details, validity, entries and authorised days. A visa does not guarantee admission or replace work permission. For a future relocation budget, use the Austrian tax guide; a financial calculation does not establish immigration eligibility.
